Darian Global Sourcing are always looking for ways to enhance their high standards even further. Many clients comment on high standards and process management that we have in place. After some internal debate, we decided that it would help future clients to see how seriously we take out internal structures to have some formal recognition of the standards we set ourselves.
In January we decided there was a need to to expand our team of consultants and as of last week we were delighted that Mike Topley, a qualified Mechanical Engineer decided to join us. He has a great deal of experience in working with quality systems and therefore as part of his part of his new job is also to establish ISO 9001 systems within Darian. This will involve checking through our quality policy and procedures and formally bringing us in line with ISO requirements. An independent audit would then be anticipated in 2010.
Whilst we know we take a great deal of care in measuring standards and quality on behalf of our clients we think that this move will show a visible measure to the outside world that the reduced prices of global sourcing do not lead to reduced quality.
